The three Egadi islands of Favignana, Levanzo and Marettimo lie off the west coast of Sicily.
Although not as famous as the dramatic, volcanic Aeolian Islands or as chic and exclusive as Capri, these Sicilian islands exude a laid-back charm all of their own.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t

You can reach Palermo several times a week by plane. If you have a little more time for the journey or would like to combine it with a few days’ vacation, you can travel by ferry via Genoa or Civitavecchia.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t

It can be hot in summer and on land, but not on board, where there is usually a cooling breeze. Rather weak or light thermal winds. In the fall, a low can also pass through. This happens rather quickly within a day and longer periods of bad weather are very rare.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t

From Palermo, we sail west to the Egadi islands of Favagiana and Marettimo, which lie not far from the western tip of Sicily off the city of Trapani. If the wind allows, we will sail back to Palermo via the island of Ustica in the Tyrrhenian Sea and the picturesque coastal town of Cefalu.
Alternatively, we also offer a sailing trip from Palermo directly to the Aeolian Islands, where you can perhaps also enjoy the capers of Salina or land on Filicudi or Alicudi, the two smallest and loneliest islands in this group.
