Sailing-Classics Mediterranean Voyage

AMALFI COAST & GULF OF NAPLES

The coastline along the Amalfi Coast and the Gulf of Naples with Mount Vesuvius, the islands of Capri, Ischia and Procida is one of the most beautiful things Italy has to offer. You can admire the small villages built in the narrowest of spaces, which drop steeply into the sea, lemon gardens and the colorful majolica domes of the churches from the comfort of your boat.

Arrival & Departure

Italy, as one of the most popular vacation destinations, and therefore also Naples, are served by the well-known airlines several times a week. If you prefer not to fly, you also have the option of traveling by train.

WIND & Weather

The best time for a sailing vacation on the Amalfi Coast is in summer. It’s nice and warm and the Mediterranean Sea is a pleasant temperature for swimming. The mostly weaker, thermal winds ensure relaxed sailing in this dream area.

We sail along the Amalfi Coast – one of Italy’s first maritime republics – and of course stop off in the pretty little town of the same name to explore the cathedral with its oriental façade above the famous staircase. Continue west, past Positano to Capri. A popular place for artists, writers and celebrities of all kinds. The Grotta Azzurra (Blue Grotto) is rightly still one of the main attractions and a great spectacle. We sail towards Ischia, often with light winds. The impressive fortress of Castello Aragonese is well worth a detour. The small neighboring island of Procida is still an insider tip – you can enjoy a delicious meal in one of the picturesque restaurants on the pier in front of the harbor town of Corricella.
