New Year’s Eve trip from Martinique to St. Lucia
Martinique - St. Lucia - St. Vincent - Martinique
Experience the turn of the year in a completely different way in the tropical Caribbean and on board the RHEA!
Island hopping from Martinique and the beautiful bay of Le Marin to St. Vincent (Wallilabou Bay as the filming location for “Pirates of the Caribbean”) and to the Grenadines to the celebrity islands of Mustique with the “Basil’s Bar” or Bequia with its wonderful beaches and – something very special – the turtle breeding station. On the way back to Martinique, we visit the island of St. Lucia with its landmark the Pitons and the botanical gardens (swimming in the waterfall) or “Marigot Bay”, a hurricane hole in whose first hotel resort the pina colada was allegedly invented.

Wind and weather forecast
The best time to travel to the Caribbean is between December and April – ideal for soaking up the sun in winter. It is then tropically warm with water temperatures of 24-26°C and air temperatures of 24-30°C – occasionally there are short tropical rain showers. The constant trade winds ensure perfect sailing conditions.
