IMPORTANT INFORMATION
Arrival and departure
You can travel from major airports and with the usual airlines. If you want to travel in a more climate-friendly way, you can check the options by train or ferry.
What is included on this trip?
The cruise price includes: Costs for the nautical crew and service, accommodation on board in the booked category, sea transportation, full board on board, water, tea, filter coffee.
The price does not include: arrival and departure, transfers, soft drinks, Nespresso and alcoholic drinks and tips.
Special: Please note that the service is limited during transfers. Participants are regarded as co-sailors who can also assist the crew with watches and other customary work on board. As the sea can sometimes be rough, a certain level of physical fitness is required. Sailing experience is an advantage. Possible ports and stopovers depend on the route and the time frame. The captain makes the final decision. Depending on wind and weather conditions as well as technical conditions on board, the start and duration of the transfer voyage and any stopovers may vary without this giving rise to any further claims on either side. For the return flight, a buffer of at least 1 day (regular transfers), min. 2 days (‘small’ Atlantic crossing) or min. 3 days (Atlantic crossing) or a rebookable ticket can be booked. During a transfer, the ship is brought from A to B within a specified period of time, and we may also have to use the engine. We would like to point out that any known pre-existing conditions must be reported in good time before the start of the trip and that we require a doctor’s confirmation.
Wind and weather forecast
In summer it is (almost) always nice and warm – although it usually remains pleasant on board above the water – in spring and fall it is cooler, you sometimes need a sweater, and the weather is more changeable than in summer. The winds of the Mediterranean Sea are as diverse as the countries and can be very different depending on the region.
