Sailing trip around Mallorca – with fine culinary accents

This trip takes us once around Mallorca – a week of relaxed sailing along impressive coastlines, past hidden bays, bright beaches and the varied landscape of the Balearic island. As with all Sailing Classics trips, the focus is on tranquillity, nature and plenty of time on the water. In addition, we add selected culinary highlights on this tour that bring us closer to the island in a particularly authentic way.

During the route, we visit the charming weekly market in the beautiful old town of Pollença, which is known for its variety of regional products: olives, cheese, herbs, fruit, honey as well as handicrafts and clothing are offered here on 300 stalls. Another highlight is a visit to the Can Axartell winery, which is one of the most architecturally and ecologically exciting wineries on the island. During an exclusive tasting, we get to know the signature and terroir of these biodynamically produced wines.

At the Salines d’Es Trenc, we gain an insight into the traditional salt production of Mallorca and taste the famous Flor de Sal directly at the place where it is produced. At the Treurer Olive Estate, we get closer to the Mallorcan olive oil culture and taste an oil that reflects the taste of the island’s landscape and Mediterranean microclimate.

This journey is accompanied by Boris Rogosch, gourmet expert and food podcaster. He complements the culinary stops on the journey with background knowledge, talks about products and producers as well as insights into the special features of Mallorcan specialties – as an expert, inspiring companion.
