We then sail to Paros or Naxos, two of the most beautiful islands in the Cyclades. Lively harbor towns, traditional villages and regional specialties invite you to enjoy the Greek way of life with all your senses. Another highlight is Folegandros, a quiet, unspoilt island with spectacular views and one of the most beautiful choras in the entire Aegean.
This special journey is accompanied by Michelin-starred chef Bernd Bachofer. His culinary signature combines classic French cuisine with intense Asian influences. His cuisine is particularly influenced by the flavors and techniques of Japan and Korea as well as the fascinating world of fermentation. Bernd Bachofer has always found the inspiration for his cuisine in his family history. His grandmother, who ran her own restaurant in Stuttgart in the 1960s and 1970s, instilled in him the values of precision, down-to-earthness and genuine hospitality. These values still form the basis of his work today. At the same time, he loves the dynamics of professional kitchens, the creative exchange and the special atmosphere that arises when people come together through good food.

You can travel from major airports and with the usual airlines. If you want to travel in a more climate-friendly way, you can check the options by train or ferry.
In summer it is (almost) always nice and warm – although it usually remains pleasant on board above the water – in spring and fall it is cooler, you sometimes need a sweater, and the weather is more changeable than in summer. The winds of the Mediterranean Sea are as diverse as the countries and can be very different depending on the region.
We returned to the north of the republic very satisfied after our trip on the Rhea to Santorini. We particularly enjoyed the sailing part of the trip. The friendly and competent support from the crew under the Frisian skipper Leon and Marc's contributions about the history, country and people made the voyage an unforgettable experience....
