Sailing-Classics Mediterranean Voyage

KYKLADEN

Snow-white houses, blue domes and shining little chapels. Barren hills, bizarre rocks, sandy niches and deep blue as far as the eye can see – this is the backdrop that surrounds you on a sailing trip in the island world of the Greek Cyclades. Around 50 islets belong to this group of islands, which are arranged in a circle – in the Kyklos – around the once sacred island of Delos.

Arrival & Departure

We sail in the Cyclades from Athens or Santorini. Both airports can be reached several times a week from most major airports.

WIND & Weather

From June to September, the Meltemi usually blows very steadily at 4-7 Beaufort and provides a pleasant cooling effect, especially in the rather warm water temperatures.

Routing details

The magnificent backdrop of Santorini, from the caldera with the view of the white houses on the edge of the crater, the picture-book Cycladic village of Ios, Amorgos with its fortified monastery that seems to be stuck in the rocks, Paros and the picturesque Folegandros…
Naxos is the largest and greenest island of the Cyclades and enchants with its varied landscape paired with ancient ruins and monuments from various eras. Naxos marble was already one of the most important marbles in ancient times and even today you can observe the extraction and processing of the “white gold” in numerous sites.
