This sailing trip from Corfu to Malta combines relaxed distance sailing with comfort, style and – optionally – a very special added value in terms of content. The trip takes place entirely as a regular Sailing Classics voyage and can also be booked as normal without a course. In addition, we offer interested guests the opportunity to take part in a 5-day yacht construction course for beginners.

The cruise leads from the green island of Corfu across the Ionian Sea and the central Mediterranean Sea to Malta. This route offers longer, pleasant sailing routes, plenty of time at sea and the special feeling of really being on the move – without the hustle and bustle, but with real sailing pleasure.

Optional: Yacht construction course for beginners

Parallel to the sailing trip, we offer a yacht construction course for beginners for a maximum of 10 participants. The course is optional and can be booked independently of the trip.

Scope: approx. 4 hours per day
Cost: € 490 per person (incl. textbook), in addition to the tour price

The course is aimed at anyone who wants to develop a basic understanding of yacht construction – without any previous knowledge. Contents include:

Basics of hull and deck design
Materials, construction methods and design principles
Practical insights based on real yacht designs

The lessons take place on board and are timed so that there is enough time for relaxation, sailing and life on board.

Note: If there are fewer than 7 course participants, we reserve the right to adjust the course costs. In this case it is of course possible to withdraw from the trip.

Arrival and departure

You can travel from major airports and with the usual airlines. If you want to travel in a more climate-friendly way, you can check the options by train or ferry.

What is included on this trip?

The cruise price includes: Costs for the nautical crew and service, accommodation on board in the booked category, sea transportation, full board on board / one dinner per week to explore the local cuisine at own expense, water, tea, filter coffee.

The price does not include: arrival and departure, transfers, soft drinks, Nespresso and alcoholic beverages, water sports on board, shore excursions and gratuities.

Wind and weather forecast

In summer it is (almost) always nice and warm – although it usually remains pleasant on board above the water – in spring and fall it is cooler, you sometimes need a sweater, and the weather is more changeable than in summer. The winds of the Mediterranean Sea are as diverse as the countries and can be very different depending on the region.
