Discover two of the most beautiful and exclusive coasts of the Mediterranean Sea – we start in the north of Sardinia along the Costa Smeralda via the natural park of the La Maddalena archipelago, where the sea shines in the most beautiful shades of blue, then continue along the beautiful Corsican coast to the north. From there, we sail to Antibes on the Côte d’Azur with a longer sailing stage of around 14 hours.
Every sailing trip follows the conditions of nature. The itinerary shown is a non-binding orientation and can change depending on wind and weather.
Individual arrival in north-eastern Sardinia. Amid turquoise bays, striking granite rocks and Mediterranean vegetation, your voyage aboard CHRONOS begins.
In the evening, the crew welcomes you with a welcome drink. Over the first dinner together on deck, you get to know your fellow travellers and the crew and look forward to a varied week between Italy, Corsica and the French Riviera.
After breakfast, we cast off. CHRONOS sets course for the famous La Maddalena Archipelago – a natural paradise of small islands, sheltered bays and crystal-clear water.
Along the way, there is time for a swimming stop before the voyage continues to Corsica. In the evening, you reach Bonifacio, spectacularly perched on white limestone cliffs. The approach into its fjord-like natural harbour is one of the most impressive in the Mediterranean. High above the harbour, the narrow lanes of the old town, small boutiques and cosy cafés invite you on a first shore visit.
Today CHRONOS follows Corsica’s wild west coast northwards. Rugged mountain scenery, jagged rock formations and secluded bays make this one of the most captivating stretches of the voyage.
In the afternoon, you reach Calvi, one of Corsica’s most beautiful harbour towns. Its mighty citadel watches over the wide, sweeping bay and offers glorious views of the sea and mountains. Stroll through the historic old town or enjoy the evening in one of the many restaurants right on the harbour – the perfect place for dinner ashore and a taste of the Corsican way of life.
After a relaxed breakfast on board, CHRONOS leaves Corsica and sets course for the French Riviera.
Today’s leg is one of the sailing highlights of the voyage. Far from the coast, you experience the special vastness of the Mediterranean and enjoy life aboard a classic sailing yacht. With a little luck, the prevailing winds will provide long hours of sailing and impressive speeds. As CHRONOS holds her course for southern France, relaxation, the pleasure of sailing and the intense experience of a longer passage take centre stage.
Just off Cannes lie the Îles de Lérins – a green island world set in the azure Mediterranean. The small islands of Sainte-Marguerite and Saint-Honorat form a surprisingly peaceful contrast to the glamorous Riviera.
On a walk through fragrant pine forests, past historic fortifications and hidden coves, you enjoy the relaxed atmosphere of this protected island world. CHRONOS then sails on to Cannes. The famous Croisette, elegant boutiques and the unique flair of the Côte d’Azur invite you to a leisurely evening stroll.
Today the route follows one of Europe’s most beautiful coastlines to Antibes. Along the way, you pass the famous Cap d’Antibes with its magnificent villas, hidden swimming coves and spectacular stretches of coast.
Antibes combines Mediterranean ease with the French art of living. The historic old town, with its small squares, markets and cafés, is a delight to explore. If you wish, spend the evening in one of the many restaurants by the harbour or in the winding lanes of the old town.
To round off your voyage, CHRONOS sails along the Côte d’Azur towards Saint-Tropez. Off the famous Pampelonne Beach, there is often time for a last swim in the turquoise water or a few relaxed hours at anchor.
You then explore Saint-Tropez – a place that embodies the Riviera lifestyle like almost no other. Amid luxury yachts, street cafés, Provençal lanes and elegant boutiques, the Côte d’Azur shows itself at its most glamorous.
In the evening, CHRONOS reaches Sainte-Maxime. At the traditional Captain’s Dinner, you look back on the experiences of the past week – from the islands of Sardinia and the wild beauty of Corsica to the French Riviera.
After a last breakfast on deck, you disembark in Sainte-Maxime. Individual departure, or an optional extended stay on the Côte d’Azur.
With its 54 m length and 1000 m² sail area, our CHRONOS is without doubt one of the most beautiful and fast large luxury sailing yachts. “Your sailing boutique hotel!”
