Relaxed sailing off one of the most famous coasts of the Mediterranean – a discovery even for those who already know the Gulf of Naples from land. With plenty of time for swimming and for detours to Amalfi or little Procida with its romantic restaurants on the harbor pier. A longer sailing leg takes you westwards to Sardinia, where the water shines in the most beautiful shades of turquoise and is almost reminiscent of the Caribbean.
Every sailing trip follows the conditions of nature. The itinerary shown is a non-binding orientation and can change depending on wind and weather.
Make your own way to Salerno. Optional transfer from Naples airport or the railway station to the marina. The moment you step aboard CHRONOS, you sense the special way of life on board: stylish surroundings, a warm-hearted crew and the relaxed atmosphere of a classic sailing yacht.
After the welcome, you enjoy a welcome drink on deck and the first dinner together – with a view of the lights of the Amalfi Coast.
After a leisurely breakfast, it’s time to cast off. CHRONOS sails along the spectacular coast towards Capri. The approach past the legendary Faraglioni rocks alone is one of the most memorable moments of the journey.
Capri enchants with Mediterranean elegance, blossoming gardens and spectacular viewpoints. If you wish, explore the famous Piazzetta, head up to Anacapri or simply enjoy a cappuccino overlooking the deep-blue sea. In the evening the island is bathed in golden light as CHRONOS drops anchor in a sheltered bay.
Today we sail to Procida, the smallest island in the Gulf of Naples and, for many, the most authentic. Here time seems to pass more slowly.
The picturesque fishing quarter of Corricella is especially enchanting, with its colourful house fronts, small boats and winding lanes. Instead of glamour, genuine Italian island life, warm encounters and a relaxed atmosphere await us. Perhaps you will spend the afternoon in a small café right by the water or watch the fishermen bustling about the harbour.
With a course set for Ischia, you enjoy a relaxed day of sailing in the Gulf of Naples. Plenty of time for sunbathing, reading or a swim in the open sea makes this day especially restful.
Ischia enchants with lush vegetation, thermal springs and charming coastal villages. CHRONOS often anchors with a view of the imposing Castello Aragonese, perched majestically on a rock above the water. If you wish, explore the island on your own or simply enjoy the tranquillity on board.
As the mainland recedes, the scenery changes. CHRONOS reaches Ponza, one of the most beautiful islands in the Tyrrhenian Sea.
White cliffs, turquoise bays and small grottoes define this unspoilt island. The day is all about swimming, snorkelling and unwinding. If you wish, explore the charming harbour town with its pastel-coloured houses or enjoy the sunset from one of the small restaurants right on the water.
Today we enjoy a true day of sailing. CHRONOS sets course for Sardinia and crosses the open Tyrrhenian Sea.
With the sails full of wind, we savour the wide horizon and the unhurried pace of life on board. Sunbathing, reading, conversations on the sun deck or a refreshing swim during a stop – today the sailing experience itself takes centre stage. With a little luck, dolphins may even accompany us for part of the way.
For the highlight of the journey, we reach the world-famous Costa Smeralda. Turquoise water, bizarre granite formations and idyllic anchorages make this region one of the most beautiful sailing areas in Europe.
CHRONOS glides along a coastline renowned as much for its natural beauty as for its exclusive charm. Hidden bays invite you to swim, while small coastal villages radiate Mediterranean joie de vivre. In the evening the traditional Captain’s Dinner awaits us – an atmospheric finale to an extraordinary sailing journey between Campania and Sardinia.
After a final breakfast on deck, the journey ends in Sardinia. Independent departure or an optional extension of your stay on the Amalfi Coast.
